BOWLING!!!

It is so hot outside!! We are already hitting the triple digits and the humidity can be killer. We decided to have some family fun today INDOORS! We went to the new fun center in Rockwall called "Shenaniganz" and we had a blast. We bowled and drove the go carts. It was a truly great day! My mom even came and she bowled for the very first time EVER!! Here are some pics of our fun day...........

Best Friend Baby Shower

This weekend my best friend, Ellen, flew in from Georgia with her mom, boyfriend, and brother to have her baby shower with friends and family here in Texas. I think it went really well. She is having a little girl and her name will be Kylee Morgan and I am so excited to meet her in August! It was a great to see Ellen and her family, but it just seemed to fly by so fast. I can't wait to go see little Kylee when she is born!

Car Seat, Noodles, and a Hula Hoop.....

McKade will be 1 year old in a week!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Time just seems to glide on by whether I want it to or not. He has had a fun week so far, he got a new car seat, tried noodles for the first time and got his first look at a hula hoop (which he LOVES)! We have a VERY busy few weeks ahead. This weekend my best friend flies in from Georgia for her baby shower I am throwing for her. It is also my friend Erins, 29th b-day, which is a big deal, too. Then next weekend is little mans 1st b-day and Fathers Day!! Lots and lots to do for ALL of these occasions. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. Summer has definitely started out with a bang!

Here we come 4th grade, watch out!!!

I can NOT believe my baby girl is going into the 4th grade!!! I mean after 4th is 5th and then it is MIDDLE SCHOOL! I'm not ready for all that. She is just getting so grown, she is almost in my shoes, and a couple more inches and she will catch up to a few of my friends and then she will be my height. I know she will be taller than me but it is still so crazy to think about it. She has been having all her end of school activities and last week we went to the "May Pole" family night, she was a scarf dancer, she did a great job! So, we are now on to the 4th grade, her last day of school is Thursday......unreal!
