Weight, Cupcakes, and Baby.....

Well, it has been a very busy cupcake season so far!! I am very excited and so blessed that the business is doing so well and growing. I love it! I really enjoy being busy and watching the business grow every month, I hope we are where we want to be in a couple of years. So, unfortunately I don't have as much time to blog as I would like, but I am trying to keep up! Here is what we are up to......

I joined Weight Watchers week before last and it has been hard getting on the "point" system again. I am so NOT used to writing down every little thing I eat and not only that but counting the point value of the foods. I am getting better and I have even lost weight!! I am also walking and starting to JOG!! That is my ultimate goal, to start jogging and running. Hopefully in a couple of months I will see some real changes. I am also gearing up for Mothers Day, a visit from one of my best friends and her family, my best friend's baby shower in June, AND McKades' 1ST birthday!!! Not to mention all the things going on inbetween these events! Spring and summer bring alot of activities and I LOVE it!!

Mavery has her TAKS math test tomorrow and she is getting a little nervous. I am praying she will do really well. I was a little upset at the fact that this past Thursday when they were supposed to have tutorials they decided to cancel it. I thought that was kinda dumb being the kids are taking the test Tuesday and they can use all the extra help they can get right now. We will work with her some tonight and make sure she has everything fresh in her mind. Other than that she only has about a month of school left before summer break. How time flies!!

McKade is just being a sweet baby. He is still rolling around on the floor and he is becoming quite the copy cat. He loves mocking his daddy and his sister. He is just so stinkin' CUTE!

New stuff!!

I feel so bad neglecting my family blog. It has been super busy around here, spring seems to be my busiest time with the business and I love every second of it, but it doesn't leave much time for anything else. McKade has been growing in leaps and bounds the past few weeks and Mavery is gearing up for her Math TAKS test in a week. Then I am sure time will just keep flying by and Mavs will be out of school and we will be planning a 1st birthday party for our little man.

McKade is rolling and rolling and he now scoots backward, it is so cute!! He loves sitting up and playing with his toys. He has become very vocal with growling, and yelling Da-Da and Ba-Ba over and over. He hasn't gotten Ma-Ma figured out yet. He is now drinking out of a sippy cup when he eats lunch and dinner. I just love every second with him, even though he is starting to get more independent. He is still my little snuggle bug. His first Easter was spent at his PaPa and Grammys. He did really great in church and liked playing with his sisters eggs, but he is still too little to grasp the concept of egg hunting.:) I didn't get any pictures of the kids this Easter because I forgot my camera at home! It makes me sick that I didn't have it, I always take it everywhere! Mark got a couple of pics on his phone, but they are pretty blurry.

As you can see McKade is very busy these days, and LOVES his daddy. Sorry there aren't too many pics of Miss Mavery, she is so busy playing outside and also with school I haven't gotten a chance to get any of her. Hopefully as the weather gets nicer we will be able to have more outings as a family and get more pics up!

I found the cutest blog a while back, it is all about quilting! ( http://dontlooknow.typepad.com/dont_look_now/ ) I can honestly say if I could learn how to do something, and be GREAT at it, it would be sewing. If I could sew I would make some pretty amazing things! All of which I have found on the internet. LOL!
